      Southside Park Running Trail

      Trail Description

      A whole bunch of great groups* helped pack 5.3 miles of trail within the city limits. These trails provide something for everybody. The beginner loop is easy rolling single-track while the intermediate has more vertical with some rocks. The advanced section has some excellent short hills to practice your power hiking skills and has some tough rock garden areas that will make you pay attention. The trails are newer and not as highly trafficked but a well-marked.

      2.2 mile loop around + 1.25 miles inside the park

      Trail Description

      Route Description: Grant Park has a 2.2 mile sidewalk that runs around the 131- acre greenspace with an additional mile plus wide paved road that runs through the park. No cars are allowed to drive through the park so you’ll have all the space you need. The route is made up of rolling hills and good for all fitness levels. The park was established in 1883 and is filled with history and has a beautiful tree canopy shows off its colors in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
